Delete your account
How to delete your RABL account and what happens to your data.
DRAFT — requires legal review. This text describes how RABL works today but has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Values in square brackets will be completed before publication.
Delete it in the app
- Open the RABL app and sign in.
- Go to Account → Delete account.
- Read what will be deleted, confirm, and enter the code sent to your mobile number.
What is deleted
- Your mobile number, email, password and name (shown as "Closed account" where a record must stay).
- Your addresses, farmer profile, personal bank details, plantings, favorites, cart and device notification tokens.
- The address and coordinates of your farms; your crop listings are archived.
- Your photos and files (farm cover, crop-listing photos, seller documents, profile image) are queued for deletion.
- Every session ends; you are signed out everywhere.
What is kept, and why
- Order records, for accounting, legal obligations and disputes with sellers ([Order record retention period]). They are no longer linked to a usable account.
- Audit records of changes, without your location details and names, to protect the platform.
- Messages you sent to sellers stay with them, shown as from a closed account.
A closed account cannot be reopened; you can register again with the same number.
Company owners
- If you own a company account and are its only member, deleting your account also closes the company: its contact details and address are anonymised, its products are unpublished, and its orders are kept.
- If the company has other members, send a deletion request (below or in the app). RABL handles it within 30 days, for example after ownership is arranged.
- Staff accounts are closed by a RABL administrator.
