These guidelines keep RABL safe and useful. They apply to everything published on RABL — products, stores, crop listings and photos — and to inquiries and reports. Breaking them can lead to removal of content and suspension of accounts.
1. Why these rules exist
Buyers rely on accurate listings to make agricultural decisions. RABL has zero tolerance for illegal, dangerous, misleading or abusive content.
2. What can be listed
- Agricultural inputs: seeds, seedlings, fertilisers, growing media, irrigation equipment and tools.
- Crop-protection products that are registered in the Kingdom and sold by a licensed seller (see below).
- Ornamental plants.
- Crops and produce from your own farms, as crop listings.
3. How to list
- Use a clear title, the right category and an accurate description.
- Show real photos of the actual product; no photos copied from others.
- Prices must be real and include what the buyer pays for the listed unit.
- Keep stock and availability up to date at each location.
- Only list what you are allowed to sell and can deliver or hand over.
4. Not allowed
- Illegal products, or products whose sale needs a licence you do not hold.
- Counterfeit or copied branded goods.
- Crop-protection products without a Saudi registration, expired products, or products repackaged without the original label.
- Misleading claims (for example guaranteed yields or "cures"), fake reviews or false origin.
- Offensive, hateful, sexual or violent content, and harassment.
- Other people's personal data, contact details in photos, or spam.
5. Crop-protection products (pesticides)
A crop-protection product needs its official registration number and active ingredient on the listing, and the seller needs the licence required by MEWA and SFDA. RABL checks these before the product is published. Always follow the label; RABL never gives pesticide doses.
6. Inquiries and conduct
Inquiries are for genuine questions about a product. Be respectful, do not send spam, and do not ask for or share data you do not need. Sellers answer outside RABL using the contact details the buyer shared.
7. How moderation works
- Every new product and crop listing is reviewed by RABL before it is published.
- Every edit to a published listing is reviewed again before the change appears.
- A rejected listing comes back with the reason, so you can correct it and send it again.
- Seller applications are reviewed, with their documents, before a seller can sell.
8. Reporting
In the RABL app, use "Report" on a product, store, crop listing or seller page and choose a reason (prohibited item, misleading, offensive, fraud, counterfeit, unsafe product or other), with an optional note. You need to be signed in. RABL reviews reports within [Report review time] and may remove content, ask the seller to correct it, or suspend the account. You can also write to Support.
9. Blocking
In the RABL app you can block a seller from its store or product page: its products, store and offers are hidden from you, and you can no longer send it inquiries. You can unblock it at any time from your account in the app. Sellers can block a person who sends them abusive inquiries.
10. Enforcement
Depending on the seriousness, RABL may reject or remove content, cancel offers, suspend selling, or suspend or close an account. Serious or illegal content may be reported to the authorities.
